Did you pass your pratical driving test first time?

I had my practical driving test today and i failed. I was doing very well, i couldn't have done it any better. Why i failed was because, we were on our way back to the center and we approached traffic lights and they turned red. I braked and stopped beautifully. When the traffic lights turned to amber i brought up the clutch slowly up and i don't know what happened i just day dreamed and i forgot to take off the hand brake (these is something i never done during my driving lessons) then i stalled the car. I was guttered and i just panicked, while i was panicking the traffic lights changed again to RED and i had to wait again. That's why i failed because i delayed other drivers therefore it was deemed dangerous. I only got 2 faults and 1 serious. What i want to know is?

Did you pass first time if no what did you do wrong?

When you got home did you kept thinking, if i hadn't done that i would have passed?

How long did you wait until you booked another one?

Thank youDid you pass your pratical driving test first time?Yes, I passed but I don't really think that I should have.

I was coming up to a stop sign and the car started to die so I automatically hit the clutch to clutch-start it again. It was a smooth, fluid action and I did it without really thinking about it. The man doing the test was impressed and I think that he decided right then that he was going to pass me. I could have done much better on the parking part of the test. I didn't hit anything on the parking part but I really don't think that he should have passed me. I really needed more practice before getting my license. But he gave me my license anyway just because of the way that I clutch-started the car.

I knew I wasn't ready to drive much so I practiced a lot more before really going out in traffic. Use the time that you have to practice. There's nothing wrong with that. Once you get your license, you will be driving for the rest of your life. Daydreaming while driving is very bad (I'm guessing that you know that). I'll bet you weren't really daydreaming but just incredibly nervous instead. Practice will give you more confidence and you'll be more relaxed.Did you pass your pratical driving test first time?Yes. Because I was taught by my mother. And so did my daughter, because I taught her. To make sure she would pass with flying colors, I taught her in two separate cars. One was a small stick shift. The other a huge Lincoln town car.Did you pass your pratical driving test first time?Yes, but I was 19 and the guy who took me knew the officers doing the testing. I was so nervous that I really screwed up the last parking bit. When he told me I passed, I was shocked! As I went to fill out the paperwork, bystanders whispered, %26quot;I didn't think she'd pass.%26quot;

You were able to day dream during your driving test?! I wasn't anywhere near that relaxed--and we were on a course. I admire you for being able to drive a stick. I've always wanted to learn and my husband drives one, but he only took me out twice and then, somehow, expected me to be a pro even though it took him a year to get comfortable with it. I even considered paying someone to teach me but they were too far from the house. You'll pass next time! Don't worry!

I don't know about over there, but here, I think we can do it right away.Did you pass your pratical driving test first time?I passed mine the first time.Did you pass your pratical driving test first time?Relax. It's not the worst case I've ever heard. I did pass my road test (that's what we called it) on the first try, but I had an advantage. My dad had been letting me drive on side streets, and dirt roads long before I was old enough to get a license. He had been teaching me since I turned ten. At the time of my test I was 16. So that was like 6 years of practice. So like I said don't sweat it. You'll pass next time. I have confidence in you simply by the way you fret over the one thing that kept you from passing this time. It's good to review where you went wrong, but don't beat yourself up over it ok?
