check brakes, rotate tires, change oil, etc. and where would be the best place to get it doneHow much does it cost to get your car serviced?well, honestly, it depends where you go, and how much service work it needs, a basic oil change should cost around 25-30 bucks.. tire rotation is usually about thirty also.. checking the brakes most garages will do for free with the oil change, and tire rotation.. when the wheels are off to be rotated all they do is take a look at the brakes.. as for the best place to get it done,, i recommend a dealership, they are familiar with your vehichle, and are usually respectable. also if you should have a problem, you can go back to the car manufacturer to get it resolved.. i do not recommend the %26quot;quick lube%26quot; places, as they usually employ anyone off the street to do the job, and have been known to mess things up... its not worth the risk of engine dammage to save five or ten dollars in my oppinion..
