Cheapes place to change your brakes?

Where's the cheapes place to get your brakes changed? Dealer?, big brand tire?

Does wal-mart do it? I know they do oil changes.

And I have no idea how to do it, so don't wanna risk my brakes failing on me on the freeway lol

ThanksCheapes place to change your brakes? You can go to Middas or Pep Boys.

It will be cheper, just make shure what kind of warranty they are ofering.

I undertand is a maintenance Item, but still ask of the pads they are repalcing will be releasing dust(impartant to know if you got custom wheels, this dust makes them look dity all the time).

Also check for warranty on brake squiking or cristalization.

Some Independent shops use the chepest brand of pads to compensate for labor, so be carefull on that too.

Try replaceng the brakes with a nation wide Chain, so you can have a wider warranty.

No doubt that if you take it to the dealer, you will be getting the exact factory pads replacement and cervice from a factory cerfied Tech. It migth be expensive, and time consuming, buth is worth the investment.Cheapes place to change your brakes?Pep Boys charged me $700 to change brakes on 2000 Nissan Maxima, replace 2 rotors, and machine 2. 1 Month later i hear a grinding noise coming from one of my rear wheels, and see a large amount of brake dust on that wheel.

Cheapes place to change your brakes?Think about this. Do you want the cheapest brakes or the best you can get? I would think that good brakes are more important than saving a couple bucks. I would definitely avoid wal-mart and pep boys. Take it to a place that specializes in brake work and make sure you ask about what brand of pads and shoes they use. Don't trust your life to some kid that makes $8 an hour and doesn't care about anything but getting off work at 5pm to pick up his girlfriend.Cheapes place to change your brakes?pep boys would be the cheapest, probably, chain-wise, and a brake job is a brake job. plus if the F it up you can always go back in there until they get it right
